Datos PENSAMIENTO POSITIVO ( Positive Thinking ), Kelly Howell AUDI.My guess is that the original, ie CD, played on a good CD player would be slightly purer than the iPod.

I really wanted to listen to the Holosync tracks on the Nano, so I figured out a simple method to get my iPod to play WAV files. It would play the WAV files just fine, but when I tried to play MP3 audio files it wouldnt be able to read them. I did a little snooping and I found that one of the file formats supported is Apple Lossless. Lossless means that there is no sound quality reduction, even if there is a file size reduction from the original WAV file. Converting WAV to Apple Lossless is simple: Note: I am using version 7.2.0.35, so if you are using a lower version you may need to upgrade. Go into the iTunes program. Switch the Import Using: box from AAC encoder to Apple Lossless Encoder 3. Select the track(s) you want encoded from WAV and go to Advanced Convert Selection to Apple Lossless After converting both the dive and immersion tracks, I saw a serious reduction in size from roughly 600mb for the WAV files down to 387mb for the Apple Lossless files. I tried out the Apple Lossless files and they seem to work flawlessly for what Holosync does. I got the same twitching I got with the WAV files, but I could also play my other mp3 files. To do this, push and hold the middle button and the top of the ring for 8 seconds until the iPod reboots. I also dont know where these threads have gone. He used AIFF. Everything sounded the same but it didnt feel the same so i went back to just listening to the CDs. The differences you hear are likely due to either the computer soundcard that processes the file, or in the case of the iPod, its own onboard processing electronicseffects. Options, i continued to use the Sony MDR 600 headphones that i always use with the CD player as well. I might have to dig one out and see if I can tell a difference. That would be interesting.to me for sure. Its not something I can do for myself so if anybody feels vaguely inclined to check it out that would be great Totally understandable if it doesnt go past this point. A lot has gone on in the past 9 months and I seem to have gotten pretty distant with this board and everybody here. I appreciate your continued presence here and all the information personal experience that youve volunteered to share with everybody. To do an analysis that way you would be dependent on the quality of the CD player and iPod - ie you would be analysing their output.
